After reading about the Big 3 automakers and their request for a $34 billion dollar bailout in the Wall Street Journal, I am nothing short of pissed. Didn't we do this once before for Chrysler? What companies need a bailout again? Was Chrysler one of those? I mean I know the Ford CEO thinks he is getting paid accurately, but I don't see how he is missing that he is BEGGING FOR A GOVERNMENT HANDOUT!

After reading about the Big 3 automakers and their request for a $34 billion dollar bailout in the Wall Street Journal, I am nothing short of pissed. Didn’t we do this once before for Chrysler? What companies need a bailout again? Was Chrysler one of those? I mean I know the Ford CEO thinks he is getting paid accurately, but I don’t see how he is missing that he is BEGGING FOR A GOVERNMENT HANDOUT!

Sure I don’t want millions of people and businesses to go under becaue the automakers live in a rich fantasy land. Good thing they were paying attention to what we as consumers wanted to buy, and now we have Hummers and Hemis! Clearly the Ford’s CEO at 22 million a year is a little out of touch with the middle class they are marketing too. Yeah, I have bills, dumb ass, and when gas is going for $4 a gallon I can’t afford to buy a truck at 10 mpg because the gas costs more then my car payment!

Seriously guys, Ford, GM, Chrysler WAKE UP! I’m so frustrated by the arrogance of these guys, that I find it hard to write this blog. The automakers have guilted us into buying American, and as patriots we feel the need to do our part, meanwhile these guys are laughing all the way to the bank, and couldn’t care less about us as consumers or Americans. They continue to churn out unreliable, cheap, gasoline guzzling junk.

Ford, Chrysler and GM are completely aware that they represent huge industries, and millions of middle class workers, and they’re using that to convince us they are worthy of a handout. The reality is we have to bail them out and they know it!

I think Warren Buffet’s idea is best; have the CEOs invest their fortunes into their own company at a percentage similar to what we as taxpayers are going to pay. My idea personally would be to throw the CEOs of Ford, Chrysler and GM out with the trash, because they are GARBAGE!

Good thing they drove to Washington DC this time. Anyone fooled by that weak attempt at looking remorseful is naive. As soon as the money is approved they’ll go right back to flying around in their corporate jets. Those guys don’t care about the tax payers, the employees, or anyone else. They make $22 million a year, and feel it’s justified. I’m all for successful people reaping rewards, but when you are begging the government to bail you out because of your complete lack of understanding of the market, mismanagement of unions, products, and pensions, I don’t think you are worth $22,000,000! I don’t think you’re worth a damn thing.

These guys who have millions to rely on are going to get the handout, but the millions out of work from the cuts the companies are going to make, and the homes those people will lose… You know how many blue-collar-worker’s salaries could be paid with $22,000,000, not to mention their mortgages.
