In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity. – Albert Einstein

I was listening to Rush Limbaugh again today.  Not as smart of a guy as I originally thought.  I guess the more you learn, not only the less you realize you know, but the less you realize others know.  A few days ago I was listening to him go off about Rahm Emanuel saying, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.  What I mean by that is it’s an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.  This is an opportunity. What used to be long-term problems — be they in the health care area, energy area, education area, fiscal area, tax area, regulatory reform area — things that we had postponed for too long that were long-term are now immediate and must be dealt with.  And this crisis provides the opportunity for us, as I would say, the opportunity to do things that you could not do before.”

Rush makes it seem like this was a unique idea that the democrats came up with to secretly tell you they are going to use this crisis to develop their own personal agenda of promoting the democratic party.  Rush is really getting desperate for material.  A pretty smart guy said something fairly similar, albeit more general.
