Our newest family member is…

Not many things survive in my house, literally. Over the last several years we’ve had 4 dogs, 2 cats, several fish, a son, and a lawn. I currently have a dog and a son. So based on this history, I figured getting another dog would be a great idea. The whole thing started when a friend of Jenny’s from work mentioned she was having Shih-tzu puppies. Well she wasn’t but her dog was. Something about her mom’s dog got it on with her dog. There’s no inbreeding involved that I am aware of, but anyway… A couple of days ago on her way home from work, Jenny called me to ask what I would like for dinner. Chick-fil-a sounded good. So she got Chick-fil-a and the world’s smallest dog. I guess there was a guy hocking Chihuahua puppies in the parking lot, so Jenny realizing it’s always best to buy a dog from a reputable breeder vice a pet store, decided to purchase a puppy. We’ll find out on Wednesday if it has bird flu or anything. Hopefully we haven’t infected our family with anything beside fleas. I am of course aware that fleas were the source of one of the most devastating epidemics in human history. We’ll see how it works out, but it would be really crazy if our new dog is a reincarnation of our other 4 dogs, my lawn, and cat, and it’s back to take out our family. Actually crazy isn’t really the word, shitty is a better word.
