So your ready to sell your home and your interviewing real estate agents for the job. Don’t forget that the real estate company and ultimately the agent are your “marketing firm” for your home. As I’ve said before, you don’t want to limit any market and one of the fastest growing markets are the tech savvy consumer. They use their computer to find loans, research schools, compare houses, and even look at satellite pictures of neighborhoods. Are you targeting these consumers?
Things that your chosen real estate company/agent should have at a minimum:

  • A highly visible web site.
  • A high relative position on the most popular search engines.
  • A fairly large amount of traffic.
  • Their web site should also look professional and be easily navigable
  • The real estate site should have online virtual tours.

  • The professional should have the ability and knowledge to upload documents, and pictures

Most of you reading this are the exact target market I am talking about. Consider these things when selecting your professional and don’t hesitate to take some time and compare your choices. You’ll be attacking those buyers from all directions with advertising that utilizes all media.
