Passions

I read obsessively. Books for some reason make me feel good. Walking into a book store causes a deep and wonderful calm to come over me. I wish I could explain it. I pretty much exclusively read non fiction books. I have a complex over wasting time, and I find that I am just as entertained reading non fiction as I am reading fiction. Current books I am working on are The Female Brain, and Trump Style Negotiations.

I love talking, reading, and working with finance. A lot of the things I will be talking about will be related to that. I totally want your feedback too. I love to hear other opinions, especially if they conflict with mine.

Religion and philosophy is also something I can talk extensively about. I especially enjoy talking about God. I’m not religious, although I do go to church. I am agnostic, but I enjoy a good sermon.

Challenges. I can’t help being attracted to a challenge. I have a tendency to choose the harder of 2 things just because one is harder. Along those lines, I run marathons. Not because they are fun, but because they’re harder to run then 5Ks. Oh yeah, and the photo above, $109 entry fee for NYC marathon, $500 hotel stay, miles of painful runs, and they run out of Large shirts. All they had left were small. Dammit, I’ve been there, done that, and I’ll be damned if I’m not gonna where the T shirt.
